This comic starts with an opening that tries way too hard to be ominous, followed by a lore dump that's honestly kind of unnecessary. What saves it is the art. I was getting some Tsutomu Nihei vibes, and anything that emulates my favorite mangaka is gonna get me to sit up and pay attention.
