This comic is very blatant about being a cheesy schlock-fest. Just an excuse for cool action setpieces and corny jokes. I think it works alright, but unfortunately the "for coin" part of the protag's job description gets dropped about halfway through. It isn't a huge deal, but I would have preferred they stay mercenaries. I also found the ending slightly disappointing - not enough to retroactively sour the whole thing, but not a particularly satisfying finish either.
