Way more laid-back than I was expecting. The two girls basically just explore the temple and reminisce on its glory days and ponder what to do about the future, and that's it. It's the tone of a slice-of-life without actually being a slice-of-life.

Probably the best part about Kochab is the aesthetic. The comic actually takes advantage of the fact that it's a WEBcomic and uses gifs to emphasize certain colors and panels. It works really well and I have no idea why this sort of thing isn't more common.

Last thing I'll say - this is the perfect comic to read around Christmastime. The colors are perfect Christmas colors, there's tons of snow, and the temple is chock-full of pine trees and ornaments and decorations that would fit right in with the holiday season!
